2009 Best Buy Teach Awards Winners Selected

At Best Buy we believe technology can excite and engage students, creating a more valuable educational experience. This year Best Buy Teach Awards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, have been given to more than 460 schools to sustain or enhance existing educational programs. Teach Award winners are selected based on teacher applications describing how they incorporate student use of technology in their classrooms. Building on its connection with @15, Best Buy's platform to connect with teens, fifteen 9th-grade programs were awarded $10,000 for technology-based programs they've successfully implemented.

  • Since 2004, the Best Buy Teach Award program has awarded nearly $17 million to over 6,000 K-12 schools.
