Local Giving

Best Buy Children's Foundation supports and strengthens communities by contributing to a variety of organizations and programs that empower youth to excel in school, engage in their communities, and develop leadership skills.

The Best Buy Children's Foundation Local Giving Program is a grant making program led by employee committees in each of our eight territories across the United States. We believe that lasting community partnerships are led by our 140,000 employees who direct funding to nonprofit organizations with the TagTeam Award for volunteerism and the Local Giving Program.

The Local Giving Program is a decentralized grant making program that is led by governance committees in each our eight territories. Applications will be accepted from non-profit organizations that meet the criteria of the Best Buy Children's Foundation and are located within 50 miles of Best Buy stores.
